Where does the time go? In the nearly 9 years that I've been in business, I've designed and crafted a wide variety of projects-everything from bookshelves to conference tables to bedroom sets to kitchen cabinets- and quite a bit in between. Some of my recent projects include: …a restaurant interior with 26 tables and a 20' long mahogany bar …35 modular computer desks for a bio-tech research firm …cabinetry & desks for a prominent interior design company …furnishings & point-of-purchase stations for a credit union lobby …a classic library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases on three walls for a beautiful Victorian home …6 custom kitchens in the past year In 2006, I was recognized as the "Best Green Furniture Designer" by City Weekly's Annual "Best of Utah" competition. I work with quite a lot of sustainable "earth friendly" materials, including no and low VOC finishes, wheatboard panels for cabinetry, reclaimed hardwood lumber, and more. In 2004, I received an award for furniture design from the prestigious DesignArts Utah contest. My capabilities and experience allow me to successfully create quality, one-of-a-kind furniture commissions, as well as large-scale projects such as complete residential or commercial interiors. Whether you are interested in a single piece or several dozen, I am ready to hear what you have in mind. I hope you enjoy the site, Chris Gleason |
